It circulates under several synonymous names, most notably Chudo Sveta (Wonder of the World), Citrina, and sometimes mistakenly as Anna German.

🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate (tall), highly vigorous. It is a “multiflora” type, meaning it produces massive, highly complex flower trusses. Because these trusses can hold dozens of fruits, they become incredibly heavy and must be heavily supported/tied up so they don’t snap off the vine.

🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Bright yellow, cocktail-sized fruits (40-90 g / 1.4-3.2 oz) with a pronounced “beak” or nipple at the blossom end. They look incredibly realistic, exactly like miniature lemons hanging on the vine! The skin is very firm.

👅 Flavor & Use: The fresh taste is light and refreshing, sometimes with a bright tang (acidity). Because of their firm skin and dense flesh, they are an absolute superstar for whole-jar canning/pickling. They also store beautifully for a long time after picking.

⏳ Maturity: Very late season. Growers heavily recommend sowing seeds extra early (February) if you live in a short-summer climate, otherwise, the massive trusses won’t have time to ripen.

🍅 Grown this variety? Click here to add your own photos and review below!

I

IrinaA (Irina) ⭐ Pro Grower (5,492 posts)

📍 Sverdlovsk Region, Ural (USDA Zone 3)

Grew it in the greenhouse.
