The variety deserves attention. I read somewhere that it is very similar to <em>Liskin Nos (Fox Nose)<\/em>. I didn&#8217;t have much luck with Fox Nose\u2014it turned out late and had low yields for me. But Chudo Zemli Orange is beyond all praise.<\/p>\n<p>I grew the variety in a greenhouse, the bushes were over 2 meters (6.5 ft) tall. The fruiting period is extended. It was one of the first to start ripening and continued until the end of the season. It didn&#8217;t drop its blossoms. The fruits are orange with slightly pronounced ribs, some may have a &#8220;nose&#8221; (tip).<\/p>\n<p>They are delicious with a buttery flesh. Large. The size of the fruits is practically the same from the bottom to the very top of the bush. The fruits are very beautiful, yellow-orange with buttery, dense flesh, practically seedless, with a rich, sweet tomato flavor.<\/p>\n<p>The fruits on the upper trusses had more elongated noses. Initially, I pruned it to 3 stems, but when it shot up \u2014 I stopped counting \ud83d\ude04. It set fruit almost without skipping any blossoms, unlike many others. Its growth and fruiting seem limitless, the yield is excellent.<\/p>\n<p>For me, there is one big &#8220;but&#8221; \u2014 it is too firm. We hardly ate them; it crunches like an apple, definitely not buttery. The fruits themselves are just beauties, asymmetrical, slightly ribbed oxhearts with long noses. But it was one of the few varieties that suffered heavily from Blossom End Rot (BER).
