The fruits look like heavy “little bombs.” Average weight is typically around 300-350g (10.5-12 oz). Inside, they are very meaty with small seed cavities.

👅 Flavor & Texture: Highly praised for a sweet taste and a dense, sparkling, “watermelon-like” flesh texture.

⏳ Yield & Climate Considerations: This is a mid-late to late-season variety. Important tip: Because of its late ripening, growers in cooler, northern climates often find that the fruits do not have time to ripen fully on the vine outdoors before frost. For shorter seasons, it is highly recommended to grow this variety in a greenhouse to unlock its full potential.

🍅 Grown this variety? Click here to add your own photos and review below!

G

Galya-64 (Galina) ⭐ Pro Grower (4,414 posts)

A Ukrainian variety.
