Thank you, girls! 😘

I grew it this year in a polycarbonate greenhouse. I pulled it out in September—it was a very powerful bush, over 2 meters (6.5 ft) tall, with a stem as thick as my arm. The fruits started to ripen later than the rest of my varieties.

It’s a highly productive variety, wonderfully beautiful, but… honestly, I didn’t like it the first time I tried it, because it was disgustingly sour! However, after some time, after all the tomatoes were removed from the greenhouse and a portion of the harvest was eaten or processed, it was finally this Bumblebee’s turn. And, lo and behold, the taste had noticeably changed for the better! Of course, it didn’t become marmalade-sweet, but it was perfectly edible, with a nice sweetness, just like Svetlana described.

T

tomatinka (Vera) ⭐ Pro Grower (14,911 posts)

📍 Tyumen Region, Siberia, Russia (USDA Zone 3)

Quick Summary of Bosque Blue Bumblebee 🌿 Plant Habit: INDETERMINATE (Tall/Vining).
