Indeterminate, tall, mid-season ripening. Grew it in a greenhouse; the yield was excellent. I grew his seeds last year, saved my own from those fruits, and these photos are from this year&#8217;s harvest. In the sliced photo, that&#8217;s my biggest fruit, weighing in at 1.7 lbs (780 grams). Absolutely delicious! A very meaty variety, and when you cut it open, the slice looks like it&#8217;s covered in butter. Very few seed locules. True tomato classic! I&#8217;ve pulled about a dozen 1.1\u20131.7 lb (500-800g) fruits so far and there are another dozen hanging. In the photos, the tomatoes are a bit overripe; if I had picked them earlier, they wouldn&#8217;t have cracked. I don&#8217;t live right next to my greenhouse, so I can&#8217;t check on them daily.<\/p>\n<p>The seedlings are not fussy at all, they grow very stocky with thick stems. Had to hold them a bit too long in their 16 oz (0.5 L) starter pint cups because our May was pretty garbage, cold and rainy.
