It is a standout member of his iconic Tie-Dye family, which also includes the original Berkeley Tie-Dye, the highly popular Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye, and the beautiful Berkeley Tie-Dye Heart.

🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate, mid-season. A highly vigorous plant with a thick, sturdy central stem and dense, regular leaf foliage. Can easily reach 6 ft (1.8 m) and responds very well to being pruned to 2 stems.

🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Large, round beefsteaks, often ribbed at the shoulders, typically weighing 7 to 10.5 oz (200-300 g). The exterior is a stunning mix of green, yellow, and muted red stripes. Inside, the creamy flesh is also tri-color, showcasing a beautiful marbled blend of green, yellow, and red.

👅 Flavor Profile: Very complex and sophisticated. The tri-color flesh brings a perfectly balanced mix of sweetness, a distinct spicy kick, and a refreshing hint of acidity. It is widely considered a top-tier slicer for sandwiches.

📈 Yield & Care: Unpretentious and highly productive. A green variation of the famous Berkeley Tie Dye. A vigorous indeterminate plant with a thick stem and dense foliage, 6 ft (1.80 meters) tall. Regular leaf. I pruned it to 2 stems. The variety is mid-season, with a long fruiting period. Large round fruits, ribbed at the stem, weighing 7-10.5 oz (200-300 grams). The fruits are green with stripes of yellow and muted red. The creamy flesh is also tri-color, showcasing all three colors—green, yellow, and red—each of which contributes its own aroma and adds sophistication to the taste. It is simultaneously sweet and spicy with a hint of slight acidity—a magnificent balance, a perfect flavor!
