Thanks to the thick walls and the small size of the fruits, this variety is absolutely excellent for canning. Ripening time is mid-season. I had two of this type growing: this one and Tsar David. Both are stout, tree-type plants and the fruits are absolutely identical. I pruned it to a single main stem because I got my variety name tags mixed up and thought it was a tall indeterminate. There were so many tomatoes on it, I never would have believed such a yield was possible \ud83d\udc4d. I will definitely repeat it, I have a few seeds left. I didn&#8217;t take any photos and didn&#8217;t save any seeds, and now I really regret it.
