It is a cross between two legendary giant tomatoes: Hoy x Delicious. It is named after AH Scorpii, a red supergiant star in the Scorpius constellation.

🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate (tall), mid-season variety. Forms a very powerful, sturdy bush with thick stems. Highly disease-resistant and stable.

🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Massive red fruits with an interesting growth habit: the lower trusses produce broad, oblate (flat-round) beefsteaks, while the upper trusses tend to produce blunt hearts. Fruits easily reach 1 kg (2.2 lbs), with claims of up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs) if blossoms are thinned.

👅 Flavor: Dense, meaty, with very few seeds. Dale sent it to me for testing, and it proved to be genetically stable. It’s a mid-season, tall, indeterminate variety. The stem is powerful and sturdy, and the plants are very healthy.
