Syrai&#8217;s description for this tomato, I simply lost my peace of mind&#8230; I agreed to all sorts of shipping conditions to get it delivered from Ukraine just for this variety \ud83d\ude04 Thanks to our kind forum member who helped!<\/p>\n<p>I just absolutely love giant plum tomatoes, I have a special weakness for them. \ud83d\ude04<\/p>\n<p>Here is how he advertised it:<br \/>\n<strong>Aburida<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Bush: 1.8 \u2013 2 m (6-6.5 ft). Fruit \u2013 red, plum\/barrel-shaped, beautiful, meaty, large, weighing 300 \u2013 500g (10.5-17.5 oz). The giant plum of this variety, against the background of standard ones, looks like &#8220;Gulliver in the land of Lilliputians.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I sowed it on February 20th, it got too leggy, so I had to chop off the top, re-root it, and I kept it in the water for too long \ud83e\udd26\u200d\u2640\ufe0f Well, basically, the agrotechnics went wrong right from the start&#8230; \ud83d\ude1e It did set fruit, though not too many, and they didn&#8217;t quite reach 500g, mostly around 200-300g max. I really wanted to grow this miracle! So: grew outdoors in open ground, sown at the very end of February. The variety is mid-late season. The bush is very beautiful, the trusses set perfectly without skipping any blossoms, I had 4-5 fruits per truss. On the first truss, the tomatoes were a little smaller, but the rest were absolute giants! About 3-4 fruits per truss. Perhaps due to the low number of tomatoes on the bush, they grew into massive, giant plums.<\/p>\n<p>In the cross-section photo, you can see the tomato has minor empty voids, but this did not negatively affect the taste or texture at all. I love large plum tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p>My Aburida pleased me with fruits weighing 250-350g (8.8-12.3 oz). It set fruit without skipping any blossoms. The trusses mostly held 4 of these large plums each. There are no empty voids inside the fruits, the taste is very good\u2014both sweetness and tartness are perfectly balanced. Really liked it.
