The name translates to “Angelica”.

🌿 Plant Habit: A short determinate (bush). The plant grows to about 50-60 cm (20-24 inches) tall. It has a spreading habit and requires staking/tying up due to the sheer weight of the fruit. Most growers recommend not pruning it, as it sets fruit on every sucker.

🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Red, oval/egg-shaped fruits with a cute little point (beak) on the blossom end. They weigh about 50-70g (1.8-2.5 oz). They are very firm and dense.

👅 Flavor & Uses: For such an early tomato, the flavor is surprisingly good—sweet with a touch of acidity. Because the harvest is very concentrated (they ripen almost all at once) and the skins are sturdy, it is an absolutely perfect variety for whole-fruit canning.

⏳ Maturity: Ultra-early season.
