The name translates to “Amur Dawn,” referring to the Amur River region in the Russian Far East.

🌿 Plant Habit: Determinate (bush). Very compact, growing only 50–60 cm (20–24 inches) tall, but it spreads quite wide. It features somewhat frail, “wispy” foliage that gets easily weighed down by the massive fruit load. Pro Tip: It requires good support, otherwise the heavy bushes will flop completely over onto the ground!

🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Deep pink to red-crimson, oblate (flattened-round) fruits with slight ribbing at the shoulders. They are very uniform, averaging 120–150g (4.2–5.3 oz). Excellent resistance to cracking.

👅 Flavor: Dense, meaty, and very tasty with a classic, well-balanced sweet-and-tart tomato flavor.

💪 Yield & Vigor: An absolute yield monster for its small size. Growers also note extreme seed viability – in this thread, seeds that expired back in 2007 were successfully sprouted and grown years later!

🍅 Grown this variety? Click here to add your own photos and review below!

S

Svetlyachok-plus (Svetlana) ⭐ Pro Grower (1,450 posts)

📍 Russia

Seeds were from SeDeK.
