Seeds were preserved in old newspaper rolls since the Soviet era by a gardener in Kazantsevo. It originally spread through the tomato community simply as &#8220;Long Pink&#8221; and was later dubbed &#8220;Minusinsk Pepper-shaped Pink&#8221; by growers.<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udf3f <strong>Plant Habit:<\/strong> A vining, tall indeterminate plant with regular foliage. Best grown in a greenhouse or high tunnel in cooler climates, but highly productive.<\/li>\n<li>\ud83c\udf45 <strong>Fruit Characteristics:<\/strong> Beautiful, elongated pepper-shaped or plum-like pink fruits. The lower trusses can produce massive, sometimes fused fruits weighing up to 400g (14 oz). The upper fruits are smaller, usually 200-250g (7-9 oz), which makes them perfect for fitting whole into canning jars.<\/li>\n<li>\ud83d\udc45 <strong>Flavor &amp; Texture:<\/strong> Very meaty, dense, and sweet, containing almost no seeds. It came to me from the forum under this name (Long Pink).<\/p>\n<p>I grew it in a greenhouse \u2014 it&#8217;s a vining indeterminate, regular leaf. The fruits are pepper-shaped, pink, and meaty, weighing 200-250g (7-9 oz). I brought it personally from friends. This is a case of love forever!!!<\/p>\n<p>It is very productive, tall, and beautiful. Fruits on the lower trusses can reach up to 400g (14 oz) and are sometimes fused\/doubled, while the upper long pink ones are smaller. As for disadvantages, it occasionally gets blossom end rot (BER). Some fruits reach up to 350g (12.3 oz) in weight, while others are smaller and fit perfectly into canning jars (or you can slice them). She is from Kazantsevo, a village between Minusinsk and Shushenskoye.
