Out of all the varieties I planted, it easily took a well-deserved spot in my top 10 this year.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve actually put together a personal list of tomatoes that are super tasty, gorgeous, disease-resistant, and heavy yielders\u2014the kind of plants where you can walk up and pick a whole bunch at once, not just one or two. These types of tomatoes are perfect for all kinds of culinary processing and canning (I&#8217;d group it with varieties like <em>Kalman&#8217;s Hungarian Pink<\/em>, <em>Kenosha Paste<\/em>, <em>Far East Slice<\/em>, <em>Early Detroit<\/em>, and <em>Leningrad Giant<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>I grew two plants outdoors in open ground. It&#8217;s a tall indet, reached about 5 ft (1.5 m). Mid-season for me. The plant is pretty vigorous. The fruits are somewhere between heart-shaped and deep round, with a beautiful dark pink\/raspberry color, weighing 7\u201310.5 oz (200\u2013300 g).
