The plant looks great both in garden beds and in flower pots. Does not require pruning or staking. Plant height is 12-16 inches (30-40 cm). The variety is known for setting its fruit all at once in uniform clusters. The fruits are bright red, weighing about 0.7-1 oz (20-30 g). Fruiting and ripening is continuous, starting in July and going right up until the frosts. Can be used fresh in salads or for whole-canning.

R

Rodebielesumer (Elena) ⭐ Pro Grower (1,832 posts)

📍 Germany / Luxembourg / France border area (USDA Zone 8)

Last year, I had 3 Vilma bushes sitting in pots on my front porch instead of flowers, right alongside two bushes of a dehybridized (stabilized) Totem F1.
