As seeds were traded among gardeners over the years, the variety became attached to the names of the families who grew and shared them – namely, the Krivoguzov family and the Bortnikov family. While slight variations in shape (like flatter vs. rounder) can pop up due to growing conditions or weather, the consensus among Siberian growers is that Grebeshok from Krivoguzova and Grebeshok from Bortnikov are the exact same wonderful, meaty Kupino heirloom!

📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Grebeshok 🌍 Origin: An old family heirloom from the town of Kupino in the Novosibirsk region of Siberia.
