A family heirloom from Slovenia, grown by a single family for no less than 40 years.<\/p>\n<p>The seeds were originally found and collected by Primo\u017e Vehovec near Tr\u0161ka Gora, a settlement in the hills north of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, an area where grapes are traditionally grown. Primo\u017e Vehovec received the seeds from a man who had been growing this tomato for over 10 years after the passing of his father. The man&#8217;s father had grown this tomato for over 30 years in the exact same spot in his vineyard. However, as you can see from her harvest photo, Tr\u0161ka Gora is a classic example of an old, Mediterranean-style ribbed beefsteak (similar to the famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomat-pomidor.com\/en\/costoluto-genovese\/\">Costoluto Genovese<\/a> or various Yugoslavian heirlooms).
