Natalya grew Gogosha outdoors and called the taste “ordinary.” But Olga and Valentina grew it in a greenhouse and praised its “pleasant sweetness” and called it a “favorite.”This happens all the time with large pink potato-leaf beefsteaks! These types of tomatoes need consistent warmth and controlled watering to concentrate their sugars. If they are grown outdoors in open ground during a rainy, cool summer, the plant takes up too much water and the flavor literally gets “washed out,” turning a world-class heirloom into a bland, watery tomato. If you live in a cooler climate, definitely put this one under glass or plastic to unlock its true potential!

📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Gogosha 🌍 Origin: A highly regarded old heirloom variety from Ukraine.
