Kecskemeti Jubileum – I brought the seeds back from Hungary myself. It’s a famous Hungarian variety bred specifically for canning. The bush isn’t tall at all, maxed out around 3 ft (1 m) in my greenhouse. I pruned it to two stems. Fruit set is excellent, and these beauties are the absolute perfect size for tossing into canning jars, weighing about 3.5-4.2 oz (100-120 g). The flavor is really good, just a classic tomato taste with a nice little tang. The skin is firm but not tough.<\/p>\n
