His description lists it as an indeterminate, but in my greenhouse, it only reached a little over 3.3 feet (1 m) and self-topped.

The internodes are short, and it puts out a ton of blossom clusters, but the plant grows very slowly and takes its sweet time sizing up the fruit. I’d definitely call it a mid-season variety in my conditions.

But the yield is great, the fruits are large, and the flavor is your standard, classic tomato taste. It has complex trusses, holding 6-8 fruits per cluster. One of the trusses only had two tomatoes on it, but they were absolutely massive. It doesn’t push out a lot of suckers at all. I pruned it to 2 stems.

Edited January 12, 2013 by Tomatanya

T

Tomatanya (Tatyana) 🛡️ Forum Moderator (10,247 posts)

📍 Leningrad Region, Russia (USDA Zone 4)

More photos:

Full Summary: Plant, Yield, Taste and Vigor

🌿 Plant: Originally listed as indeterminate, but growers often find it acts like a semi-determinate, naturally self-topping around 3.3 ft (1 m).
