The description from his catalog states:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;SOLNECHNYI (Sunny) &#8211; 2m (6.5 ft) tall. 150g (5.3 oz), highly productive, red, sweet, sugary, very tasty, simply a masterpiece of flavor.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It is an indeterminate, tall, mid-season, and very unpretentious variety. It grew in my greenhouse and reached 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) by the end of the season. The fruits are bright red, round, with an average weight of 120 grams (4.2 oz).<\/p>\n<p>It is of universal use \u2014 whether for canning, for salads, or just to eat a fresh tomato right off the vine. The taste is very pleasant, balanced, with distinct sweetness and a nice little tang. The variety is quite productive, there were no skipped clusters (it didn&#8217;t drop any blossoms). But they aren&#8217;t rock-hard either. It&#8217;s a middle-ground option, most likely perfectly universal. I haven&#8217;t tried canning them with the skin removed, but I really liked them in regular whole-fruit canning.
