Indet, pale yellow-milky hearts. Mine turned out to be more of an early variety. I pruned it to 2 stems, and it reached about 6 feet (1.8 m) tall in the greenhouse. Like many heart-shaped varieties, it has a rather ‘wimpy’ wispy habit. The leaves are long and weeping.

The fruits averaged 5.3-7 oz (150-200 g). The flavor is a bit bland, but it was one of the very first to ripen in the garden, so we weren’t complaining at all. It’s not a fussy variety – it didn’t suffer from massive blossom drop and completely avoided blossom end rot (BER) during the tough summer we had in 2015. Yield is average, but the shape and color are absolutely gorgeous. It exhibits the classic “wispy” or weeping foliage common to many oxheart types, giving it a somewhat delicate or sparse appearance.

🍅 Fruit & Shape: Produces pale yellow, milky-white tomatoes. The standard shape is a distinct heart, though lower clusters can sometimes produce rounder off-phenotypes. Fruits are medium-sized, typically weighing 5.3-7 oz (150-200 g).

📈 Yield & Health: Yields are average, but the plant is highly resilient. It powers through tough, stressful summers without dropping blossoms and shows strong resistance to blossom end rot (BER). Ripens very early for a heart-shaped variety.

👅 Taste: Flavor is very mild and can lean toward being a bit bland. However, its early ripening time makes it a welcome treat at the beginning of the season when fresh tomatoes are scarce.

🍅 Have you grown White Medovik? Drop a comment below! Did your first clusters throw out round fruits instead of hearts, and how did you like the flavor?

🍅 Quick take: An early indeterminate producing pale yellow-milky hearts with a mild flavor.
