They get pretty large–mine topped out around 13.4 oz (380 g), even though the catalog says they can hit 2.2 lbs (1 kg).

The flavor is absolutely fantastic and perfectly balanced, making them awesome for juicing or just tossing in a fresh salad. Even when grown outdoors in cooler northern climates, it manages its growth well, staying around a manageable 4 ft (1.2 m) tall while supporting heavy fruits.

📈 Yield & Appearance: Produces very solid yields of gorgeous, flattened pink beefsteaks. While commercial descriptions boast massive 2.2 lb (1 kg) giants, growers can realistically expect heavy, dense fruits in the 10 to 14 oz (300-400 g) range under normal garden conditions.

👅 Taste & Texture: The real standout feature is the interior flesh. It has very few seed locules and is incredibly dense, yet it retains a high moisture content, making it juicy rather than dry or mealy. The flavor is a classic, perfectly balanced tomato profile that shines whether sliced fresh or processed into juice.

👨‍🌾 Editor’s Note: The “Ordinary Miracle”
The name of this tomato, Obyknovennoe Chudo, translates to “An Ordinary Miracle.” This isn’t just a random marketing phrase—it is the title of a beloved and incredibly famous Russian fairy tale play written by Evgeny Schwartz, which was later adapted into an iconic Soviet romantic fantasy film in 1978.
