I grew it in 2019 because of the promise of a long shelf life. Yes, it&#8217;s very productive. At first, when it ripened on the vine, it had a good, regular taste and stored for a long time. However, when left to ripen indoors off the vine, it became quite tasteless.<\/p>\n<p>For me, it didn&#8217;t turn out to be an early variety at all. It is very dense and should hold its shape perfectly in canning, though I didn&#8217;t get to pickle it myself.
