More of a novelty, like folks on the forum often say, and I have to agree! It’s fantastic to grow as an ornamental instead of flowers. You don’t have to deal with dead petals scattering all over the porch like you do with petunias or geraniums, and the kids love plucking the little cherries to snack on whenever they walk by.<\/p>\n

Great sweet-tart flavor, really enjoyed it. Kept one planter box right on the front porch and another out in the garden perched on top of a rain barrel.<\/p>\n
