Quick Summary of Chudo Plod (Miracle Fruit)

The fruits are large, about 300-350 grams (10.5-12 oz) each, oval-shaped.
I couldn’t find a photo of them on the bush, but here I have the first two fruits; the rest were slightly larger and looked more like the first one with the label. There were about 10-12 such “little bombs” of a beautiful oval shape, justifying the name “Miracle Fruit.”
They didn’t have time to ripen on the bush for me, I picked them green, so it is better to plant this variety in a greenhouse or grow it in southern regions.
I grew Chudo-Plod under a spunbond row cover (Agrotex) in 2014. The color of the fruits is red, the seed cavities are very small, and the flesh is sweet with a sparkling “watermelon-like” texture.
