Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zone 6 Experience)
Indeterminate, mid-season variety. The vine has medium leaf cover and hit about 6 feet (1.8 m) tall for me. It set fruit like a champ, barely skipped any trusses.
The tomatoes are heart-shaped, with pink skin and pinkish-red flesh that has an incredibly tender texture. Very few seed locules. Sweet, but definitely not bland, just an absolutely delicious tomato.

👨🌾 Editor’s Note: The Königsberg Family
The “Königsberg” line of tomatoes is highly famous in Eastern Europe. Originally introduced by the Siberian seed company SibSad (Siberian Garden), the classic Königsberg is a heavy-yielding, elongated paste/slicer hybrid known for enduring harsh weather. Over the years, several highly regarded open-pollinated variants have been developed or stabilized from this line, including Golden Königsberg and this specific pink oxheart variant (Königsberg Heart-Shaped), which sacrifices a bit of the original’s ruggedness for a much sweeter, tender, true heirloom-quality flavor.
