Description:
A variety bred by the West-Siberian Vegetable Experimental Station. Early ripening (90 days). The plant is tree-type (stout bush), determinate. The fruits are oblate, red, weighing 40-60g (1.4-2.1 oz). For early fresh consumption. High content of vitamin C and sugars.
I sowed it for the first time, the seedlings are very stout and short. A determinate “Burkovsky Ranniy” (Burkovsky Early) is growing right next to it, and that one shot up one and a half times taller! 😆

The seedlings didn’t stretch (didn’t get leggy) at all, which means they are perfectly suitable for early sowing to get the very first harvest.

I compared the tree-type Spiridon and Saraev’s Spiridonovsky. They are different. But I like Spiridon better. It’s already ripening. While Spiridonovsky has only just started setting fruit. And its bushes are not tree-types.
