My seed source is Vyacheslav Efimovich Feldman (he brought it from Germany). A tall (indeterminate) mid-season tomato with large oblate orange fruits and a sweet flavor. Regular tomato leaf. About 2 to 5 flowers per truss.
I grew this tomato for the first time in 2019. Pruned it to 2 or 3 stems. In my opinion, it’s a highly productive variety. The plant that I pruned to 3 stems gave a maximum yield of 7.7 lbs (3.5 kg), but the other plants also yielded over 6.6 lbs (3 kg). Fruit weight varied from 5.6 to 22 oz (159-623 g). The average fruit weight was anywhere from 7 to 10.5 oz (200 to 300 g).
I picked fruits at various stages of ripeness, and after letting them finish ripening in boxes indoors, it didn’t affect their flavor at all. Photos attached. I don’t have a ton of experience growing tomatoes, but I rate the flavor a solid 10 out of 10.
