📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Altaysky Rozovy (Altai Pink)
- 🌍 Origin: A commercial Siberian heirloom from the famous “Sibirsky Sad” (Siberian Garden) seed company. The name translates to “Altai Pink,” named after the Altai Mountains region in Siberia.
- 🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate (tall) and very vigorous. Known for being a highly productive and heavy yielder.
- 🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Large, oblate (flattened-round) pink beefsteaks. Average weight is around 200–250g (7–8.8 oz). They grow in generous clusters of 4 to 6 fruits.
- 🥩 Texture & Skin: The flesh is very meaty but retains great juiciness (perfect for saving seeds). Growers note that it is highly resistant to cracking.
- 👅 Flavor: Universally praised on the forum as an exceptionally delicious and sweet pink tomato.

Even though the fruits are meaty, they are still quite juicy, so it is easy to save seeds from them. Mine did not crack at all.
