I couldn’t find this variety in the catalog, so I started a new thread. 😳 Yet another excellent tomato. Very tasty, sweet, juicy, and quite meaty. It has a massive yield potential. The bush is tall. Grown outdoors it reached 1.2m (4 ft). A real handsome guy!

Grew Aussie in the greenhouse this year, it reached 1.8m (6 ft) in height. Very tasty, beautiful, and it produced large tomatoes even on the top trusses. Huge thanks to Irina (PanIrina) for the seeds.
I really loved Aussie. Grew it two years in a row, and it’s a top contender for next year’s list again.

I like it too (seeds originally from Dukhov). Beautiful, tasty, productive. Grown outdoors it reached ~1.7m (5.5 ft). It doesn’t start ripening outdoors until August at the earliest. The bush is highly resistant to various diseases (by August it was practically entirely healthy).
They are all large (even though I don’t prune the bushes).
This is my Aussie. What a handsome guy! Just starting to ripen. Definitely keeping it for next year.
Aussie grew in a poly tunnel. It was a bit late to ripen. The fruits were large, tasty, and quite meaty.

Nina, I sowed it for seedlings around March 11th. It began to ripen in August.

It was the absolute tastiest tomato I had this year.
Height was up to a meter (3.3 ft) outdoors. Produced only four tomatoes. The one from a fused megablossom weighed 940g (2 lbs) and was boat-shaped. The rest were around 600g (1.3 lbs). Seeds were from Royal Seeds. Repeating it for sure.
A very tasty, very beautiful, highly productive mid-season indeterminate. Grew on the side bed of the greenhouse, pruned to 2 stems. Rich red color, dense flesh, very few seeds. A real beauty!
I also appreciated Aussie this season, and I’d really love to grow it again. It’s in my top list for this season.

Fruits are flat-round, red, with raspberry-colored flesh. The seed cavities are small, not many seeds. The flesh is very tender with a classic tomato flavor and dominant sweetness. Perfectly suited for salads, juices, or any tomato-based canning products. Tasty and productive. Resistant to heat and diseases.

Aussie. Indeterminate, grew in a greenhouse on 2 stems, really loved it! Good yield, fruits are beautiful, perfectly uniform, deep red, flat-round with small “cheeks” (ribbing) near the stem, and quite large, up to 700g (1.5 lbs). Taste is excellent! They can lie around for a while after ripening, they don’t crack and don’t rot quickly. It’s the kind of classic tomato that you absolutely need to grow every year—great for salads, great for processing.

I had these seeds sitting around for a very long time. I think they were from Lena Danko. I only finally sowed them this year. Strangely enough, it survived the frosts. And it produced some real beauties. Mine were genuinely raspberry-colored, flat-round, and large.

Lidia Ganzen has a variety called “Australian Giant” — is that not the exact same one being described here?
A good, productive variety. Grew in a sunny spot. Fruits are large, red beefsteaks. Good boy!
