I used to grow a different Chernigovskiy strain before, and it had a pale pink color on the inside, which completely killed my appetite for it. The taste was average, although it was very early. I guess all early varieties are kind of like that?

Hi Tanya 🌺 The color is red, and the ripening time is closer to late-season. The fruits are very meaty, dense, and delicious. The bush is tall, about two meters (6.5 ft). It’s a very good variety for salads, let me send you some seeds ✉️

Oh boy. It’s already May! ))) Well, it’s good that it’s not an early one, now I understand. I try not to plant too many early varieties anyway, nor the heart-shaped ones.

Growing it outdoors in open ground, it gets sun until 2 PM. It’s a beautiful variety, you just can’t take your eyes off it. Huge scarlet fruits against the dark foliage… super!

The fruits are meaty, delicious, dense, and of my favorite bright red color. The flesh is very thick. The bush is tall, and the ripening time is closer to mid-late season.
