Gigantsky Mech (Giant Sword). Indet, an absolutely excellent variety 👍, heavy yielder, and very tasty. It grows very similar to varieties like Cuore Antico di Acqui Terme, Ladoshka, and Grebeshok.
It produces large, flat red hearts, though some of the smaller fruits on the plant are more pepper-shaped (elongated). Solid meat, very few seeds.

An amazing variety, I’ve grown it two seasons in a row now. The dense flesh is absolutely delicious, and the sweetness really stands out in the flavor profile. Super variety!!!

Svetikk points out something very interesting about this variety: it throws out both massive, flat oxhearts and smaller, elongated “pepper-shaped” tomatoes on the exact same plant. This is actually quite common in many old European oxheart lines (like the Italian Cuore Antico di Acqui Terme she mentioned). The genetics that create that wide, blunt oxheart shape often express themselves as narrower, pointy, or “sword-like” shapes on the later trusses or smaller blossoms. Both shapes will have the exact same dense, meaty, and sweet characteristics!
