Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zone 4a Experience)
Seeds are from the Partner seed company. Indeterminate vine, grew it in the greenhouse pruned to 2 stems, high yield. Red fruits, up to 1.1 lbs (500g), heavily ribbed, very beautiful 👍
Good classic tomato flavor, though the absolute largest fruits can have some hollow cavities inside. Great for decorating the greenhouse and the dinner table, or even giving away as gifts 🙂
Nina hasn’t ripened yet for me this year, here’s what she looks like for now 🙂

Partially ripened Nina. Extremely gorgeous tomatoes, they immediately catch your eye.
Mine turned out with a simple, old-fashioned tomato flavor. The neighbors snatched them up like souvenirs, and my husband gobbled them down with just a little salt. Everyone was happy 🙂

My Nina for 2020. Planted it in a polycarbonate greenhouse. Really loved it: delicious and productive. There were no hollow spots in my fruits. Just a stunningly beautiful tomato! We ate them all in salads.

Full Summary: Plant, Yield, Taste and Storage
- 🌿 Plant: A vigorous indeterminate vine. It is highly recommended to grow this in a greenhouse and prune it strictly to 2 stems for the best fruit development.
- 📈 Yield: Excellent. Sets a heavy crop of large, show-stopping fruits that easily command attention in the garden.
- 👅 Taste: Offers a straightforward, classic red tomato flavor. It lacks the intense, complex sweetness of some heirlooms but balances it with a reliable, savory old-fashioned taste.
- 📦 Texture/Usage: Fruits are heavily pleated/ribbed and get quite large, up to 1.1 lbs (500g). While the largest sizes may develop hollow seed cavities (stuffing tomato style), average-sized fruits are meaty and firm. Excellent for thick slices in salads, fresh eating with a sprinkle of salt, or gifting to impressed neighbors.
