📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Pineapple Fog
- 🌍 Origin: A stunning bicolor variety known among collectors for its exotic appearance and incredible sweetness.
- 🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate (tall), reaching about 1.8m (6 ft) in height. Known for excellent disease resistance and vigor.
- 🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Round, cocktail-to-salad sized tomatoes. Officially listed up to 120g (4.2 oz), though open-ground growers often see them averaging 30-70g (1-2.5 oz). They have thick walls and an exceptionally beautiful bicolor skin: a vibrant orange base with striking pink splashes.
- 👅 Flavor: Unusually sweet, juicy, and highly aromatic. A true 5-star flavor for fresh eating!
- ⏳ Maturity: Mid-season. A very reliable and heavy yielder.
Description from the seed catalog:
Mid-season, plant height 1.80m (6 ft), fruit weight 120g (4.2 oz), round fruits. A true miracle—orange with pink splashes. Unusually beautiful fruits, aromatic and very tasty. Disease resistant, high yielding. Superb.
It is an indeterminate variety, and indeed very disease resistant. Of course, growing in open ground (outdoors), my fruits were not 120 grams, but rather between 30 and 70g (1 to 2.5 oz). However, the tomatoes are gorgeous, vibrant, and have a very interesting color pattern. The taste is good.

Barbara, it is also a heavy yielder! The fruits are not huge, but they have thick, meaty walls and gorgeous bicolor skin. I really like it.
