A wonderful variety from Siberian Garden. Their description on the seed packet: “Mid-early, highly productive variety. The plant is indeterminate, vigorous, heavily foliated, up to 6.5 ft (2 m) tall. The bush produces 5-6 trusses with beautiful intense red fruits. Tomatoes are even, round with a pointed tip, large 6.3-8.8 oz (180-250 g). The fruits are highly marketable, with dense walls, keep their shape for a long time, and have good flavor. All-purpose use.”
I definitely had a vigorous plant. I pruned it to a single stem, but you could easily run it to three, because when I pulled the bush at the end of the season, it had a massive root system. The bush was over 6.5 ft (2 m) tall, plenty of foliage, and proved to be resistant to heat and diseases. It set trusses perfectly without skipping any.
My fruits weren’t huge, but that’s probably due to my weather conditions and underfeeding them. The flesh is very tender, tasty, sweet-and-sour, but leaning heavily on the sweet side. I really loved this variety for its low maintenance, yield, and taste.
A worthy new addition this season – the “Spring Joy” tomato! Honestly, it truly is a JOY!!!

It’s a very productive variety, even in our harsh climate zone! A few plants were planted right outside the polycarbonate greenhouse wall, just growing out in the open dirt all summer… usually I plant marigolds in that spot (there’s a narrow raised bed attached to the side of the greenhouse)…
I only covered the bushes during pouring rains, and closer to fall to protect them from cold nights.
The plants grew vigorous, with large leaves. Every bush formed 6 strong trusses with beautiful, uniform fruits. The tomatoes are even, round with a pointed tip, scarlet red with a dark shoulder near the stem, all large, weighing 6.3-7.7 oz (180-220 grams).
The fruits turned out firm, with thick flesh and a really good, balanced flavor leaning on the sweet side.
They can hold up in storage for a long time, the taste and quality don’t suffer at all, from what I noticed ))
Plant height out in the open dirt was about 4.3-5 feet (1.3 – 1.5 m).

I loved it too. A veeeery vigorous indet (indeterminate)! Grew it out in the open dirt. The trusses get heavy, but they don’t kink or snap, the truss stems are very thick and strong just like the bush itself.
