Texas Rose – indeterminate, mid-season. The bush is extremely vigorous and capable of carrying the heavy harvest “on its own shoulders” (very sturdy vines).
I am repeating this variety (growing it again this year).
Very productive, the fruits are large, juicy, and tasty. Fruit mass is 300+ grams (10.5+ oz). The shape of the fruits is heart-shaped (oxheart). The color is raspberry-pink.
I received this variety as a gift in 2012. I grew it in 2013 outdoors in open ground.
I found the variety description from Svetlana (Semechki) dated 01/11/2015:
“Texas Roses is a tall variety. Super productive — you get at least half a bucket of tomatoes per bush! They are pink, roundish with a pulled-out pointed tip (beak), around 400g (14 oz), meaty, and tasty. Resistant to diseases and weather whims.”
