Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zone 4 Experience)
I really loved this variety. Productive, fuss-free, and very tasty, massive fruits. We had a hot and dry season, I grew it out in the dirt, and the plant proved to be very resilient. We ate it fresh, and I made lecho. A batch requires 4.4 lbs (2 kg) of tomatoes, and just 4 fruits were enough since they were almost 1.1 lbs (500 g) each. I also canned vegetables and beans with it. I only had one plant and it provided enough for absolutely everything!
I wanted to keep it to 2 stems, but ended up with 3; I just couldn’t bring myself to cut off a stem covered in tomatoes, and it supported 3 stems with no problem.
Couldn’t find a photo of my ripe fruits 😕, just a photo of the plant.

- 👅 Taste: Sweet, well-balanced, and never cloying. The dark red flesh is very meaty, dense, and contains very few seeds.
- 📦 Uses: Fantastic multi-purpose tomato. Excellent for fresh eating, cooking, and canning (especially for thick sauces and stews).
