A wonderful variety by all measures – taste, yield, and beauty. Planted out in the garden (open ground) under hoops with row cover in mid-May. Height was about 1.5 m (5 ft). It started ripening in mid-July, and set fruit on the trusses without skipping any all the way to the top. It would have kept producing and producing, but alas, here we get heavy fogs starting in mid-August. I had to cover them up again from the top, and by the end of August, I had to harvest all the remaining fruits. This was probably one of the most productive varieties I grew out in the garden this year. And the fruits on this variety are just a feast for the eyes, perfectly uniform hearts in both weight and shape. On average they were about 200-250g (7-9 oz). The taste was also very pleasing, a perfect balance of tartness and sweetness, meaty, and juicy.
