📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Anna Meyer
- 🌍 Origin: A beautiful family heirloom variety, highly popularized by the well-known American heirloom seed collector Dale Thurber (Delectation of Tomatoes).
- 🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate (tall). Forms a large, vigorous bush with very thick, sturdy stems.
- 🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Large, meaty beefsteaks. It has a very interesting color expression: you can often find classic yellow/red bicolors and mostly pink fruits with bicolor flesh growing on the exact same truss.
- 👅 Flavor & Shelf Life: Very sweet and meaty. Unlike many large bicolors, it shows excellent crack resistance and has a surprisingly long shelf life once picked.

A wonderful variety from Dale Thurber’s collection. I really liked it, I plant it every year. The bush is tall with a powerful, thick stem, and the fruits are sweet, meaty, and large.
An interesting feature: on the exact same truss, you can have typical bicolors, as well as pink fruits with bicolor interior flesh. The fruits that ripen earlier hold up for a quite a long time in storage and do not crack. It is a family heirloom variety.
