An Afghan variety, extremely resilient, indeterminate growth up to 6.5 ft (2m). It pushes out suckers as soon as you remove them, BUT! I planted those pruned suckers in open ground all summer long and they also bore fruit, though they only grew to about 2 ft (60 cm) tall. A sturdy bush: can easily grow along a trellis in open ground. Great for conditions that require extreme endurance and beauty.
