Is it good for canning/pickling, or is it strictly a slicer for fresh eating? The name is a hoot, though! Camels, rams… 😂 😘 But why does it get soft so fast?
It’s definitely a slicer/salad variety. As for why it gets soft… well, whatever you want to call it, that rapid softening is apparently just a genetic quirk of the variety.

Mid-season indet, grew it in the greenhouse. You can easily run it to 2 or 3 stems/leaders. Pink fruits, super meaty with very few seeds. Delicious, great slicer.
