I’ve actually put together a personal list of tomatoes that are super tasty, gorgeous, disease-resistant, and heavy yielders—the kind of plants where you can walk up and pick a whole bunch at once, not just one or two. These types of tomatoes are perfect for all kinds of culinary processing and canning (I’d group it with varieties like Kalman’s Hungarian Pink, Kenosha Paste, Far East Slice, Early Detroit, and Leningrad Giant).

The fruits are somewhere between heart-shaped and deep round, with a beautiful dark pink/raspberry color, weighing 7–10.5 oz (200–300 g). They are firm but juicy.
The flavor is really well-balanced—a classic tomato taste with a nice sweetness to it.
