“A new mid-season, large-fruited variety. Plant height is 5-6 ft (1.5-1.8 m), fruit weight up to 21 oz (600 g). Fruits are oblate, deep pink in color, with dense sugar-fleshed meat, very few seeds, and excellent flavor.”

This variety is an absolute workhorse! It went through a brutal heat trial for us this year outdoors in open ground, and the fruit set didn’t suffer at all. Seeds were from Sib-Sad.
The plant actually toppled over entirely because the metal spiral stake just couldn’t handle the heavy fruit load. I planted it at the exact same time as Bull’s Heart (Bychye Serdtse), and it easily beat it to the punch and ripened much earlier.
