Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zones 4-7 Experience)
The official description: “Dwarf Lemon Ice (USA) ; the result of a cross between Roza Vetrov and Anna Banana Russian. Plant height up to 4 feet (1.2 m), compact, mid-season. Fruits are lemon-yellow hearts, weighing 4.2-6.3 oz (120-180 g), lemon-colored flesh, tasty with citrus notes. Fruits are practically perfectly uniform in size. Heavy yielder.”
It completely lived up to the description for me. Grew it in the greenhouse, plant height reached 4-4.5 feet (1.2-1.4 m), tasty, and when they ripen they take on this neat translucent look.
