Description from the “Gavrish” seed packet:

A mid-early (106-110 days from seedling emergence to fruiting) indeterminate (tall) hybrid, recommended for high tunnels and winter greenhouses. Sow seeds indoors in mid-to-late March. Pot up the seedlings at the first true leaf stage. Transplant into the greenhouse in early to mid-May at 45 days old. Staking or trellising is mandatory a few days after transplanting. Prune to a single stem, removing all suckers. The fruits are oblate in shape, with a perfectly smooth surface, weighing 4.5-5.3 oz (130-150 g). Intended for canning and absolutely fantastic for fresh salads. The plants set fruit very well even with early planting dates. Plant spacing is 16×24 inches (40×60 cm). The hybrid is resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV), leaf mold, and fusarium wilt; it is also genetically resistant to cracking and blossom end rot. Yield is 10-12 lbs (4.5-5.5 kg) per plant.

This is the very first tomato I ever started my growing journey with. It produces a crop for absolutely everyone, even those who claim they can never get tomatoes to grow. For me, they grew so large they wouldn’t even fit whole into a mason jar. The yield is excellent. I used them for making lecho*.
