Quick Summary of Serdechnyi Potseluy (Heart’s Kiss)

I planted Sibsad (Siberian Garden) seeds, and two different varieties grew… It’s a shame about the photos, as I discovered this forum a bit late.
The first one wasn’t a heart at all, so I won’t even talk about it, but the second one looks very much like what was promised.
The bush grew to about 1.30 m (4.2 ft). All the tomatoes hanging on it were large, but I wouldn’t say there were many. Then again, it matches the packet’s stated yield of 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs) per plant. The taste is normal—there is a slight tartness, it has a good aroma, and it’s not watery. But when it ripens, it becomes completely untransportable due to its thin skin.
Next year, I’ll plant from my own saved seeds and see what happens. I’ll add a cross-section photo when this specimen fully ripens.
Well, I sliced it open…
The first ones tasted with a slight tartness; this one is much blander, no acidity is felt at all. The seed cavities are small, not watery, and the flesh has a beautiful sugary texture on the cut. Not watery at all. But there’s not much sweetness…

Natasha, the tomatoes probably just didn’t get enough sun this year, which is why there’s a lack of sweetness 😔.

It also grew in a spot where there wasn’t much sun…
But compared to my other tomatoes, it was the sweetest.
There were a lot of seeds inside, I will definitely plant it next year.
Grew it outdoors in open ground. Pruned it to 3 stems. I ended up with a gorgeous bush with exactly 2 medium-sized tomatoes. I don’t know about the taste, didn’t try them 😉
Absolutely did not like it.
The first fruits were very delicious, a well-balanced flavor.
