The plant is determinate (mine grew less than a meter, around 70 cm / 2.3 ft), regular leaf. It turned out to be mid-late, but I am not sure if that’s accurate, because out of the whole packet, only one seed germinated. The fruits are round, red, quite meaty, with a normal, good, classic tomato flavor. Productive.
Unfortunately, I only have photos of an individual fruit and a cross-section of an unripe one on the bush.
I want to tell you a funny story.
About a year ago, maybe more, I read a thread on a Ukrainian forum about a variety that people were eagerly looking for — called “Gentsel”. After much discussion and exchanging of opinions, they came to the conclusion that the desired variety was actually “Heinz” (Translator’s note: reading the Latin ‘H’ as a ‘G’ and ‘z’ as ‘ts’, which is a common transliteration mix-up in Cyrillic). No specific numbers were mentioned.
Seeing that I had as many as two Heinzes in my seed stash (Heinz 1370 and Heinz 1350), I naturally got interested. For now, I planted the one whose fruits are rounder and, I think (not entirely sure), has a shorter bush.
I didn’t regret trying it and shared it with some friends.
