🍅 Quick take: Manhattan Bicolor is a large, mid-season, indeterminate bicolor tomato. While it may not be the heaviest producer for everyone, growers praise it for its absolute top-tier flavor, ranking it among the best-tasting bicolors. The meaty, sweet fruits range from flat-round to heart-shaped, and their skin color shifts beautifully between yellow-orange and red depending on how much sun they receive. Full summary ↓
Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zones 4-5 Experience)
Grown outdoors in the dirt. First year growing this variety. The fruits are large, but there weren’t a whole lot of them. The only reason I’m dropping a review in the catalog: it was one of the absolute best-tasting bicolors of ’21.
Here it is compared to Zagadka Prirody (Nature’s Riddle) and Medovyy Salyut (Honey Salute).

The skin color can lean more yellow or red depending on the sun exposure.
