Grower’s Notes and Photos (USDA Zone 4 Experience)
Indeterminate, mid-season variety with regular leaf foliage. The fruits are compact, plump reddish-pink plums with a sharp pointed tip, averaging around 1.8 oz (50 g). Flavor is pretty solid with a nice bit of sweetness and tang, making it a great variety for canning. I trained it to a single leader in the greenhouse, so my greenhouse yield ended up just average. Sets about 8 fruits per truss.
The last photo shows a plant outdoors grown from a sucker I rooted in June*. Looking at how that one did, I can tell this variety will produce great in the open ground if you run it on 2-3 leaders.
Judging by the info I dug up online, this is a hybrid that was dehybridized by Reinhard Kraft back in 2005/
