The plant is indeterminate, medium-sized, about 140 cm (4.5 ft) tall, quite sturdy with regular foliage. It is recommended to grow it in 4-5 stems.
The variety is mid-early and very productive. It is suitable for growing outdoors in a sunny bed and in a greenhouse, and performs excellently when grown in containers. Due to its vigor, a pot of at least 15 liters (4 gallons) is recommended. You can also grow it in 2-3 stems, which makes the fruits more beautiful and uniform, but the yield will be lower. Extremely resistant to late blight and blossom end rot.
The snow-white fruits with a purple “fog” on the shoulders, weighing up to 25g (0.9 oz), will charm you; they are shaped like an amphora with a pointed tip. The flesh is creamy white. The taste is spicy-refreshing at first and very sweet when fully ripe. The fruits have a magnificent, delicate fruity aroma.
Märchenengel is ideal for grilling, appetizers, salads, pickling, garnishes, decoration, and drying.

Here is how my Fairytale Angel turned out. The bush grew “in free flight” (completely unpruned) in the southwest corner of my polycarbonate greenhouse. Sprawling, completely covered in beautiful fruits. Very long fruiting period, stores perfectly without losing quality. Next time I’ll plant it in a pot.
You only need to prune the suckers up to the first flower truss. Oval, incredibly beautiful fruits, yellow with blue shoulders colored by anthocyanin. Sweet with a little acidity and a fruity aftertaste. The yield is enormous.

Girls, tomato fairies, please tell me/give me a hint, which of the “Fairytale” (Märchen) series is the tastiest? I fell under the collective magic and got myself heavily “seeded” (bought too many seeds) but I can only plant three of them, so I need to plant the tastiest ones. I have Magic, Fairy, and Fruit.
Mine turned out to be total sourness! The girls advised me to keep them on the vine longer, so they hung there until October! Some cracked and rotted, and the surviving ones didn’t get any better!
The variety is very productive, the bush was absolutely loaded, but I threw the entire harvest from it away in the trash!
A bush of Skazochnaya Magia (Fairytale Magic) grew nearby, and it was very sweet.
In fairness, I will note that this isn’t any “magic” at all, it’s just a regular ‘Bleshik from Remka’ (a nickname for a Blush tomato strain)!
The Pink Angel was a little prettier, not as sour, but all summer it tasted just like a cheap Turkish store-bought tomato. Towards autumn, a slight sweetness finally appeared.

Skazochnaya Magia (Fairytale Magic) – definitely! Sweet, stores well, productive, a true rival to the famous Candy Sweet Icicle.
Out of all the Angels, I liked Skazochnyi Angel Pink (Märchenengel Pink) the most. It is both sweeter and prettier. The regular Angel looks a bit plain, even with the blue tint. I didn’t take pictures in the greenhouses at all this summer, I only photographed them when they were already harvested. But they looked very good on the bushes. My grandson ate them well, too, but he liked “Monetochka” (Little Coin) the most, then the Pink Angel, and the regular Fairytale Angel was his last choice.
The Angels are in the middle jar. They fit perfectly into small jars, they are firm, I think they will be delicious in a honey marinade. We haven’t tried them yet.
A complete disappointment, tasteless, and they ripen very unevenly.
